Selecting a Vehicle Package Description

This feature is available for CCC Valuescope users only.

Some vehicles, particularly trucks, have packages available. If a package is available for a given Year, Make, and Vehicle Type, the Package 1 droplist on the Vehicle Description screen will be available and filled with values. If the vehicle is of the current year, or of the current year plus one year, you will have the option to manually enter a package into the edit box. The Vehicle Package will appear in the field, and will be calculated in the CCC Valuescope Valuation.

To select a package description

1. Open or create a workfile.
2. Select the Vehicle tab, and then select the Description tab.
3. If this is a new workfile, you must enter and decode a VIN, or make a CCC Standard Vehicle selection.
4. Make a selection from the Package droplist. If you are working with a current-year or a current-year-plus-one vehicle, enter the package into the edit box.
5. Click Save or Save and Close.
